Growing up, Rashad was an overweight chubby kid with glasses and asthma. After taking account for his health and making a 180 in his life, he was put on the path to a career in the NFL.

Diet
After a science experiment in Rashad’s kitchen including a series of different varieties of food, Rashad realized the gluten filled items would become hard after sitting out for several days. He realized that must be what happens inside of his body when he eats gluten. Due to that, Rashad now follows a gluten-free and casein-free diet. Gluten Free is the elimination of wheat, barley and rye, and casein free is the elimination of milk and dairy products in one’s diet.

Fitness
Fitness plays a very important role in Rashad’s life since he overcame being that overweight, chubby kid with asthma. Rashad’s training schedule is different than most. He trains very hard during the off-season, averaging about 14 hours per week. He aims to keep his body in the best shape year round, so that he is always prepared for football and anything else that may come his way.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber
While most rookies in the NFL will purchase cars and other luxurious items, Rashad decided his first major purchase would be a hyperbaric oxygen chamber because he believes his health is an investment. Rashad sleeps in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber during the season in order to fully prepare for game day. A hyperbaric oxygen chamber enhances the body’s healing process through the 100% oxygen that is inhaled during the process.
